Timberham Sawmill in Crimson Desert serves two different progression tasks: sending a logging dispatch for timber and operating a leased sawmill business in Charting the Unknown. If a quest asks you to collect timber through a logging mission, open the sawmill's map details and use Missions. If you are following Renewed Vitality and a lease notice, use Facilities and manage the business instead.
The sawmill is in Hernand, associated with House Alfonso and timber production. Visiting the property or picking up ordinary wood does not automatically complete a logging-dispatch objective. Likewise, successfully launching a logging mission does not mean you have hired staff or opened a DLC shop. Identify which task is active before spending camp resources.
Find the sawmill and inspect its map details

Inspect the named sawmill and choose the tab for the task you need.
Use the world map to find Timberham Sawmill near Hernand. For the business introduction, the faction quest leads you to a notice board in Hernand and then toward the nearby sawmill. Follow that quest marker and inspect the location instead of searching unrelated logging camps across the region.
The map's inspection panel is more important than the appearance of the buildings. It exposes different functions for the same location. Select the appropriate tab for the task you are trying to complete: Missions for a logging dispatch or Facilities for leasing and managing the shop.
When using a controller, follow the interaction labels displayed in your own map interface. Button references from a particular platform do not change the underlying route: select the sawmill, inspect its details, and enter the tab that contains the relevant action. You can make the dispatch decision through the map rather than walking to every pile of timber.
If you arrived because a furniture recipe guide mentioned Timberham, the property also has a cabinet-shaped furnishing workstation near its furniture merchant. That is another distinct interaction. It is not the control panel for a logging dispatch, and it should not be confused with the workstations placed inside a managed business.
Start a logging dispatch for the timber objective
For a task that explicitly asks for timber through a logging mission, inspect the sawmill and open Missions. Select the available small-scale logging assignment and read its requirements. The mission panel tells you the camp resources it consumes, the comrades it needs and its expected duration.
This objective is not completed by gathering the visible timber around the sawmill manually. That wood may have other uses, but the quest is tracking a dispatch action. If you keep collecting resources without the task advancing, return to the mission interface and check whether the requested assignment has actually been launched.
Before confirming, review the selected comrades. Logging-related skills can provide useful mission bonuses, so compare the available workers rather than sending an arbitrary pair simply because their slots are empty. Use the bonuses shown by the current mission screen; do not assume that every worker contributes the same effect.
Once the mission is running, continue other activities while it completes. Use the mission's own status and completion result as the checkpoint for this task. You do not need to remain physically beside the mill while the dispatched comrades perform their assignment.
Fund the camp resources the mission requires
A red requirement in the mission panel indicates that the camp lacks something needed to start. Carrying an item or money personally does not necessarily put it into the camp's provision pool. Return to the Greymane camp's provision management and inspect the resources available to dispatch missions.
Carl provides access to the camp provision interface. Through Manage Provisions, inspect the contribution value attached to items you are considering donating. Different items contribute to different camp resource categories. Read the displayed result before confirming so that you add what the dispatch is actually missing.
Camp funds can also be contributed through the funds-donation option. Keep personal money and camp money separate when diagnosing a shortage. Selling items at a normal shop changes your personal balance; contributing to the camp changes the resources its missions can use.
Donate only what you intend to commit. There is no need to empty your inventory or transfer all your cash simply to test whether the dispatch can become available. Reopen the sawmill mission after contributing and compare its requirements with the updated camp totals. Once they are satisfied, assign comrades and launch it.
Exact costs and durations should be taken from your mission panel. A particular recording's resource balance or worker bonus is not a universal price for every future dispatch. The reliable route is checking the active assignment, contributing the missing categories and confirming that its status changes to running.
Lease the DLC sawmill through Facilities
Charting the Unknown adds a separate route for operating Timberham as a business. Follow Renewed Vitality, including its introductory sawmill lease task, and read the notice that directs you to the location. Then use the map's Facilities tab to inspect the sawmill's lease option.
The lease interface displays the cost and ongoing business information. Review both before accepting. Leasing gives the Greymanes control of the facility, but it does not establish that the shop is already productive. You still need to enter the managed area, assign staff, choose goods and place the equipment those goods require.
When you arrive at the leased site, open Management. Its main controls let you open or close the shop, manage the goods list, manage staff and place installables. Start by preparing the production chain rather than opening an empty operation and waiting for customers to solve its missing requirements.
The map also contains other facility types. A storehouse, guard position or regional structure is not necessarily another rentable sawmill. Read the location's own panel and look for the business controls relevant to your goal, rather than treating every Facilities marker as an identical shop.
Build a chain that can fulfill the selected goods

Match your selected products to the equipment and production stages they require.
Begin with the goods you plan to sell. In Manage Goods, inspect the required skills and installables for each product. Early timber goods use a different set of processing steps from later plank goods. Listing a more valuable product before its supporting equipment is available can leave customers ordering something the shop cannot produce.
The sawmill's basic chain collects timber, processes it and turns the resulting material into a finished order. Storage, a rack, material containers and crafting stations each serve a purpose within that route. Place the required equipment close enough that workers do not spend most of their time walking from one end of the plot to the other.
Use your current recipes and staff as the starting point. Later popularity rewards introduce more options, but the first business does not need a late-game arrangement copied object for object. Build the equipment required by a manageable goods list, then expand when you can support the next products.
Workers also need the correct roles. Review the sawyer or logging role separately from the carpenter or crafting roles. A strong logging skill does not automatically supply every crafting requirement. Compare wages alongside the skills shown in the staffing interface so that the shop's labor cost matches the work you have actually assigned.
Grow popularity without confusing it with facility tier
Popularity and facility tier are related business systems, but they answer different questions. Popularity advances through operating the business and satisfying its progression conditions. Facility tier reflects the contributing equipment and worker bonuses shown by the installation and management interfaces.
When a popularity reward gives you a book, open and read it. Courtesy of Waiting supplies the waiting-table learning step, while Building with Planks supports the later production chain. Receiving a reward notification alone does not mean every recipe in that book has been learned and installed.
Review the new level's objectives as well as its reward list. A full-looking popularity meter does not establish that every condition for the next milestone is satisfied. If progress appears stuck near a boundary, check the listed tasks, unread books and required installations before waiting through more customer visits.
For a functioning layout, place the waiting area near the final crafting stations. That gives staff a practical delivery destination after an order is made. A better waiting area cannot replace missing processing equipment, but it can stop the final handoff from becoming an unnecessarily long walk across the property.
Judge performance from completed orders and costs
Open the shop after its staff, goods and equipment are ready, then watch an ordinary customer request an item. Follow the worker through production and delivery. This checks the entire business chain more effectively than assuming that a lease confirmation means the shop is earning.
Adjust the selling price while watching the displayed customer response. The most expensive listed item is not automatically the best starting choice: it can demand more equipment, better service or resources your current setup does not support. A modest product the business can reliably deliver is a clearer baseline for learning its operation.
Use the statistics screen to compare earnings with wages and upkeep. Business-guide claims about enormous profits do not guarantee the same result on your save, with your staff or on a later update. Completed sales and the costs shown by your own facility are the useful measurements.
When something fails, return to the correct layer. A dispatch shortage belongs in camp provisions; an unavailable lease belongs in faction and facility progression; unfinished customer orders belong in the shop's staffing and production chain. Keeping those layers separate lets Timberham serve its different purposes without repeatedly solving the wrong problem.
